Are those of you using SL able to access the Mac Appp Store? It was right there in the Apple Menu a few months ago, but I suspect that one of those confounded updates ate it. huh.gif

My Mac(s): OS 10.13.4, iMac Retina 5K 27-inch, late 2014, 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5, 1 TB fusion drive, 16 GB RAM, Epson SureColor P600, Photoshop CC, Lightroom CC, Office 2008, Nikon LS 8000 scanner

Me too. You might want to check the directory with Disk Utility or Disk Warror (or similar). If that doesn't resolve it, a common remedy is to re-apply the 10.6.8 Combo updater.

One more thing: Is the AppStore app in your Applications folder? If you can't find it there, do a Spotlight search in case it was moved to another location. If that's the case, move it back to /Applications.

Ditto what Neil & Jon said.

I just used it this morning with no problem.

BTW, they are referring to the third item down on the Apple menu top left corner.

Success. Found it in Apps with the "verboten" symbol on it, so I did the combo update, which took only 1/2 of forever, and all is well. Thx, guys.

It's not actually a fixed amount, yet. It will be determined at a later date. Recently, some thought it was last December. Alas, like all previous projections, it proved to be somewhat short of the amount (not unlike the brains of those who offer these dates, IMHO laughhard.gif ). I understand that not having fixed dates can be frustrating to those who deal with finite brains, of course. My suggestion is to simply do what I've done; lose your mind!!! Err, what Jim said. But, since it was put into effect by Congress, we can assume it's temporary.
